Clapsticks
Clapsticks , Aboriginal Clapsticks
Clapsticks also called music sticks are used to keep rhythm in song, dance and corroboree. They are made from timber found in the local area and were often traded for different types of wood not found in the same area. Sometimes they painted or burnt but also often left plain.
Our range clapsticks are made by Doug pearce and Ozzie Egan who are both highly respected elders and craftsmen in their tribal nations. They also both make beautiful, unique didgeridoos and emu callers.
